ABOUT OUR CHURCH

MISSION

Our mission is to make disciples among every tribe and nation in Arizona and around the world. We believe a disciple is a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ: someone who chooses to follow Jesus, is being transformed by Jesus, and has joined the mission of Jesus. We believe Jesus impacts our Head, Heart, and Hands!

VISION

Our vision is to multiply among every tribe and nation. We envision a day where every church member will be a missionary, and that they are equipped and sent into their local communities to share the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are currently multiplying locally through small groups, investing regionally through church planting, and building strategic global partnerships to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

COMMUNITY

We are located in an area where people from many different countries, cultures, and backgrounds are present. We believe the local church should be multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, and multi-generational. That is why we are passionate about Every Tribe and Nation!

OUR VALUES

I. We value the authority of Scripture, and allow the Bible to inform every aspect of our lives.

II. We value living generously and giving ourselves away; our time, talent, & treasure.

III. We value community through authentic relationships: transparent, accountable, and covenantal relationships that lead to repentance, forgiveness, & restoration.

IV. We value the effectiveness of sharing our personal story and sharing how Jesus has transformed our lives.

V. We value leadership development, and equipping new generations of believers to lead the church into the future.

OUR STAFF TEAM

Troy Butler

Pastor

Troy was born and raised in Page, AZ. He is Navajo (Dine). He is married to Tiffany. He received his B.A. in History from Arizona State University. He received his Master of Theological Studies from Gateway Seminary in 2018. His hobbies are spending time with Tiffany, reading, and fishing.

Kirstie Alderman

Collegiate Director and Graphic Designer

Kirstie grew up in Chandler, Arizona and graduated from Arizona State University in 2015. She works for Christian Challenge as a campus missionary at Mesa Community College, and also serves as the church's graphic designer and social media coordinator. When she is not working, she is often playing video games with her husband, Stephen.
